The Sonoma Multitrack Recorder Editor is earning a reputation as a competent and reliable Recorder and Editor. Since it's introduction at the October 2004 Fall AES show, the Sonoma multitrack has been used on many sessions by Telarc in the United States, sessions by Makoto Ozone in the USA and Japan, John Hiatt's new Hybrid Multichannel SA-CD "Master of Disaster", ongoing sessions by producer Michael Beinhorn, sessions at Lookout Sound Studios in Whitefish Montana, and sessions by Sony Music in New York and Japan. Telarc recently used a 32 track Sonoma to record John Pizzarelli with the John Clayton / Jeff Hamilton Jazz Orchestra at O'Henry studios in Los Angeles. There's a common theme that spans these sessions - The Sonoma is proving to be a reliable and competent workhorse DSD recorder / Editor that can easily handle the toughest recording and editing tasks under pressure of a demanding session.

EMM Labs ADC8 MkIV and DAC8 MkIV

A standard for Super Audio CD production, EMM Labs analog to DSD and DSD to analog converters designed by Ed Meitner have been used over the years to produce the large majority of Super Audio CDs worldwide.

“These converters are so transparent and accurate that they have changed the way I work. I find that fewer microphones are needed to get satisfactory results. No more than seven microphones were used on any of these recordings and that was for a six-channel surround recording! Not only do these converters work well in DSD, but I can safely say these are the best sounding, most accurate PCM converters I have heard.”
-Tom Jung, Recording Engineer and President, DMP Records
